Rolls-Royce Spectre EV Gets A Surprising Discount
Rolls-Royce is the last brand you’d expect to see discounts on vehicles, but never say never. The luxury brand is offering a $5,000 discount on the Spectre model for customers who will lease the vehicle in the US.
Considering the car’s starting price of $422,000, this discount seems like a good joke. However, this is only the price of the basic model, which almost no one buys.
Most buyers are serious about personalizing cars and investing tens of thousands of dollars into them. This discount really seems like a joke, but it can be rationally explained by the fact that the US has eliminated subsidies for the purchase of electric cars of $7,500.
Cars Direct reports that this incentive appeared in a recent dealer newsletter distributed by Rolls-Royce. It applies to 2025 and 2026 Spectre models that customers will pick up by November 30.
The electric Rolls-Royce Spectre is on offer from 2023 and comes in two versions.
The base car has 584 bhp, while the Black Badge version boosts power to 659 bhp, making it the most powerful model from Goodwood to date. Both use a 120 kWh battery, which allows a range of up to 428 km.
