Photos Of Toyota’s First-ever Car, The 1936 Toyoda Model AA (Replica)

Photos shared shows a replica of the Toyoda Model AA, the first production passenger car made by Toyota, then known as Toyoda.

Launched in 1936, Toyoda AA’s streamlined design inspired by the popular American-made Desoto Airflow built by Chrysler.

The original cars were considered lost for a long time, forcing Toyota to build this replica to mark its 50th anniversary in 1987.

The particular Toyoda AA replica is currently on display at Toyota Automobile Museum (TAM) in Japan.
