Coachbuilt masterpiece worth $30m has been presented to commissioning client at private ceremony in Singapore.
Arcadia follows last year’s debut of the gorgeous Amethyst Droptail and the exquisite La Rose Noire Droptail.
British luxury marque, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, has unveiled the Arcadia Droptail, a breathtaking coachbuilt masterpiece that takes its name from the mythical realm of Arcadia, a place depicted in Ancient Greek mythology as ‘Heaven on Earth’.
Created by Rolls-Royce Coachbuild, the Arcadia is the third of four unique expressions of the Droptail commissions, following last year’s debut of the gorgeous Amethyst Droptail and the exquisite La Rose Noire Droptail.
According to Rolls-Royce, this Coachbuilt masterpiece worth approximately $30 million has been presented to commissioning client at private ceremony in Singapore.
“This motor car is deeply connected to the client’s personality and preferences, and in capturing their character we have been empowered to make inspiring design, craft and engineering statements that show the world our ambition, and our unparalleled abilities,” says CEO of Rolls-Royce Motors, Chris Brownridge.
On the outside, the duotone Arcadia is painted in a solid white infused with aluminum and glass particles because the client wanted a timeless white that appears as a solid colour at first glance, but appears more complex under natural light.
The cabin is parked with stunning woodwork finishes, which took more than 8,000 hours of development, plus a leather interior finished in two entirely Bespoke hues and named after the commissioning client.
As with the other Droptail builds, the Arcadia features Bespoke Timepiece. Unlike the others, the assembly alone took five-month, making it the most complex Rolls-Royce clock face ever created.
“With Arcadia Droptail we witness daring in minimalism and subtlety, informed by the lifestyle of an individual who has a unique appreciation for British luxury. In creating this historic motor car, we once again prove our peerless abilities in synthesising and executing Bespoke design at its highest level.” says Anders Warming, Design Director.
