Governor Sanwo-Olu commissions CKD plant at Dangote Sinotruk West Africa which can produce 10,000 trucks per year.

Dangote Sinotruk West Africa is a Joint Venture with a total investment of $100 million.

Dangote Industries Limited own 65 percent of the equity while Sinotruck of China owns 35 percent.

The company had earlier revealed that it has a capacity to produce 16 to 18 trucks per day or about 10,000 trucks annually.





Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Sunday June 9th, commissioned the Complete Knock-Down (CKD) plant at Dangote Sinotruk West Africa Limited in the Ikeja area of the state.

Sanwo-Olu, who made this known via his X handle on Sunday, stated that the CKD plant at Dangote Sinotruk West Africa has the capacity to assemble and produce 10,000 trucks annually.

He wrote:

“Today, I joined the President of the Senate, Hon. Godswill Akpabio for the commissioning of the CKD plant at Dangote Sinotruk West Africa Limited in Ikeja.





“With the capacity to assemble and produce 10,000 trucks annually, Dangote Sinotruk West Africa is set to create about 3,000 jobs across Nigeria.

“Congrats to Alhaji Aliko Dangote for his remarkable efforts towards industrialization in Nigeria and Africa.”

Dangote Sinotruk West Africa is a Joint Venture with a total investment of $100 million, with Dangote Industries Limited owning 65 percent of the equity while Sinotruck of China owns 35 percent.

The company had earlier revealed that the CKD plant has a capacity to assemble and produce 16 to 18 trucks per day or about 10,000 trucks annually.
