Tesla CEO Elon Musk met with VW CEO Herbert Diess during his three-day visit in Germany, test drives upcoming Volkswagen ID.3 electric car.

Last week, Tesla CEO Elon Musk met with Volkswagen’s Chief Executive Herbert Diess during his three-day visit to Germany to check on some of Tesla’s on going projects, including the Gigafactory.
During the meeting, Elon Musk got behind the wheels of the Volkswagen ID.3 to test drive the upcoming electric car on an airfield.
Now, Volkswagen CEO Diess has posted the video of their meeting on his LinkedIn page under the caption :
“Thanks for the visit, Elon! Hope you like the video. It was great driving the ID.3 with you! You were just quite critical with the available torque at higher speed. I told you: “Yes, we are on the runway – but no need for take off – its not a sports car.” For this you should try our Porsche Taycan. Looking forward to our next meeting!”
Volkswagen boss also put an end to rumours by confirming that there’s no deal in the making with the US-based electric car pioneer.
“Just to be clear: We just drove the ID.3 and had a chat – there is no deal/cooperation in the making”
