Today’s Photos : Ostrich-drawn carriage stopped by motorcycle policeman for over-speeding in Los Angeles in 1930.

Pictures shared shows a man with an ostrich-drawn cart – yes, you read that right – receiving a traffic ticket for over-speeding from a motorcycle policeman in Los Angeles, United States, in the 1930s.

A little research by Autojosh shows that hitching not horses, but ostriches – that large flightless birds – to wagons was completely normal back then as so many pictures of carriages being pulled by ostriches are on the internet.
