Toyota Gives Yaris Cross The Gazoo Racing Body Kit (Photos)

Toyota has been giving some of their cars the special Gazoo Racing body kit and the Yaris Cross SUV is the latest member to get the treatment. Although nobody knows if a performance version will be released but this body kit is the next best thing. The photos shown below are from a catalogue of the Japanese variant as the Yaris Cross is on sale there before going global.
The accessories are according to the customer’s taste as some of them included an 18-inch dark alloy wheel with a sports exhaust system with dual tips. Mudflaps are also available if desired. Tinted rear windows, and body add-ons on the corners of the front bumper and the side doors for a greater visual effect. Other accessories the Gazoo Racing Yaris Cross fitted include a sunshade and a cargo area mat. A carbon fibre license plate frame and a door handle recess protection foil are also available.
On the engine, the Yaris Cross still uses a 1.5-litre petrol engine that outputs 114hp. A hybrid version using the same 1.5-litre is also available. It is mated with a 6-speed manual transmission and a CVT gearbox. An electric 4-wheel-drive is fitted to the SUV. There’s a chance that the Yaris Cross may come to Nigeria and when that happens we will let you know.
