Two Bugatti Chirons Worth $8.6 Million Crashes Into Each Other During Morocco Grand Tour 2024
Two Bugatti Chirons – a Chiron Super Sport and Chiron Pur Sport – crashes into each other while attempting to overtake a truck.
The two W16 masterpieces worth $8.6m combined were part of the 15 Bugattis participating in Morocco Grand Tour 2024.
Currently the world’s fastest production car, the Super Sport 300+ worth $5.3 million is one of just 30 examples in the world.
The more agile Chiron Pur Sport worth $3.35 million is designed to attack corners at high speed on winding roads or the racetrack.
Two variants of Bugatti Chiron hypercars participating in this year’s Morocco Grand Tour 2024 crashed into each other while attempting to overtake a truck ahead of them in the Krochi Blanco area of the road.
Footage shared shows the moment a Chiron Super Sport 300+ collided with the leading Chiron Pur Sport ahead after both vehicles pull out into the passing lane at the same time to overtake the truck, which also overturned to the other side of the road during the incident.

Powered by the infamous Bugatti’s 8.0-litre 16-cylinder engine, the two W16 masterpieces worth over $8.6 million combined are part of the fifteen (15) Bugattis participating in this years Morocco Grand Tour 2024 – a collection that included several Chirons and Veyrons.
Bugatti CEO Mate Rimac, who was part of the tour in Morocco has been posting content from the trip on his social media pages before the crash, though he has hasn’t posted or said anything on the incident.
Currently the world’s fastest production car, the Super Sport 300+ involved in the crash is one of just 30 examples in the world – with each having a price tag of $5.3 million.
Unlike the Bugatti Chiron 300+…that is designed for straight-line acceleration and top speed, the more agile Chiron Pur Sport, priced at roughly $3.35 million, is designed to attack corners at high speed on winding roads or the racetrack.
