Union Backs Suspended Ford Worker Whom Trump Showed Middle Finger During Factory Tour
Union backs suspended Ford worker whom President Trump showed middle finger during factory tour.
The worker was criticizing the Trump administration’s handling of files related to convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.
Union said workers should never be subjected to vulgar language or behavior by anyone—including the US President.

Donald Trump gave the middle finger to a worker, later identified as 40-year-old TJ Sabula, who shouted what sounded like a “pedophile protector” during the US President tour of Ford plant in Michigan on Tuesday January 13 2026.
In a trending video online, Trump was seen mouthing “f— you” in the worker’s direction, who was criticizing the Trump administration’s handling of files related to convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.
Following the tense exchange with Trump at the Michigan plant that produces the Ford F-150, The Washington Post reported that the autoworker was later suspended from his job pending an investigation.

Reacting to the suspension, the Vice President of United Auto Workers (UAW) and director of the Ford department, Laura Dickerson, said that the union is standing behind one of its members.
“The autoworker at the Dearborn Truck Plant is a proud member of a strong and fighting union —the UAW. He believes in freedom of speech, a principle we wholeheartedly embrace, and we stand with our membership in protecting their voice on the job.”
“The UAW will ensure that our member receives the full protection of all negotiated contract language safeguarding his job and his rights as a union member. Workers should never be subjected to vulgar language or behavior by anyone—including the President of the United States,” Laura wrote in an X post.
