GM Sold 2.85 Million Vehicles In 2025 : Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC And Buick Brands Posts Strong Sales
GM sold 2.85 million vehicles in 2025 : Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC and Buick Brands posts strong sales.
GM also led the full-size SUV market for the 51st consecutive year and also ranked the industry’s #2 EV seller in 2025.
In total, the GMC brand sold 652,394 vehicles (6.2% YoY) while the Buick brand handed over 198,155 (8.0% YoY) vehicles.
Cadillac sold 173,515 vehicles (8.3% YoY) while Chevrolet sales rose by 4.7% with 1,829,235 versus 1,747,338 in 2024.
Cadillac recorded the best Escalade sales since 2006, Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra recorded their best combined sales in 20 years.

General Motors (GM) had a strong U.S. sales in 2025, with its four brands recording a combined sales of 2.85 million (2,859,299) vehicles between January and December – which is 5.5% YoY increase vs 2.7 million (2,705,080) in 2024.
Last year, the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra recorded their best combined sales in 20 years – making GM America’s full-size pickup leader for the 6th straight year.


Thanks to the sales of flagship Cadillac Escalade/Escalade IQ, Hummer and the Yukon in 2025, GM also led the full-size SUV market for the 51st consecutive year and ranked the industry’s #2 EV seller.
In total, the GMC brand, which produces Hummer EV (Pickup and SUV), Yukon and Sierra HD, sold 652,394 vehicles (6.2% versus 614,117 YoY) while the Buick brand handed over 198,155 (8.0% vs 183,421 in 2024) vehicles.

The Cadillac brand not only sold 173,515 vehicles (8.3 percent vs 160,204 YoY) but also recorded the best Escalade sales since 2006 while the Chevrolet sales rose by 4.7 percent with 1,829,235 versus 1,747,338 in 2024.
“Demand for our brands and products is strong at every price point, and we are well‑positioned to build on this momentum in the year ahead,” said Duncan Aldred, GM senior VP and president of North America.
