All-new 2023 BMW 7-Series flagship luxury sedan arrives with massive 31-in rear screen, electric i7 variant.

Based on the CLAR platform, the new 7 Series sedan has been extended by 130mm, while its width is increased by 48mm.

The revamped range-topper is offered in : Gasoline (petrol), diesel, plug-in hybrid, and the first-ever electric variant.

The 2023 7 Series will go on sale in the Q4 2022 with a base MSRP price of $93,300 for the 2023 BMW 740i.





The 2023 BMW 760i xDrive starts at $113,600 and the BMW i7 xDrive60 sells for $119,300.

German automaker BMW has finally taken the wraps off the all-new seventh-generation of the 7-Series luxury sedan, following several teasers photos and videos as well as spy shots.

The all-new absolute flagship in Bavaria’s lineup is now significantly larger, more luxurious and more spacious than the outgoing model. Based on the BMW’s CLAR platform, the 7 Series has been extended by 130mm to 5391mm, while its width is increased by 48mm to 1950mm.

On the outside, the facelifted flagship luxury sedan features a large grille, consisting of two elements as on the recent X7 Facelift. The electric variant comes with a blanked-off grille as well as a i7 logo at the rear to distinguish it from the Internal Combustion powered-models.

Inside, the 7 Series features a new flat-bottom steering wheel and a curved digital display, which sits atop a 12.3-inch instrument display and 14.9-inch infotainment screen.

Options available include a massive 31.3 inch, 8K display ‘Cinema’ screen, which folds down from the top. It offers video streaming via Amazon Fire TV in 16:9, 21:9 and 32:9 formats for rear passengers.

The revamped range-topper is offered in the so-called Power of Choice : Gasoline (petrol), diesel, plug-in hybrid, and the first-ever electric i7 variant.

The 760i xDrive comes with a 4.4-liter V8 rated 544 hp and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft), enough to push the sedan to 62 mph in just 4.2 seconds. It has the same electronic top speed of 155 mph.

The diesel-powered 740d xDrive has a six-cylinder 3.0-liter, with 286 hp and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft). Its sprint is covered in 6.3 seconds and the top speed is unchanged.

The plug-in hybrid 750e xDrive combine an inline-six gasoline engine with an electric motor for a total of 490 hp and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft). It can reach 62 mph in 4.9 seconds, before topping out at 155 mph (250 km/h).

As for the i7 xDrive60, the all-electric 7 Series will cover as much as 388 miles (625 kilometers) on full charge, thanks to its large 101.7 kWh battery. Its battery can be recharged at up to 195 kW in 10 minutes, allowing it to drive 106 miles (170 kilometers) of WLTP range.

The 2023 7 Series will go on sale in the Q4 2022 with a base MSRP price of $93,300 for the 2023 BMW 740i. The 2023 BMW 760i xDrive starts at $113,600 and the BMW i7 xDrive60 sells for $119,300.
