BMW i7 Electric Sedan Teased With Panoramic Glass Roof, Massive Rear Screen, Ahead Of April 20th Debut (PHOTOS)

BMW 7 Series and i7 Electric Variant teased with Panoramic Glass Roof, massive Rear Screen, ahead of April 20th debut.
BMW says the 31-inch screen, dubbed the “BMW Theater Screen,” will reach nearly end-to-end in the all-new BMW 7-Series.
But the Sky Lounge Panoramic Glass Roof, just like the massive 31-inch screen, will be an optional features on the new 7-Series.
We expect the all-new BMW 7-Series to reach showrooms later in 2022 as a 2023 model.
BMW has released a few new teaser photos of the new 7-Series flagship luxury sedan and its first-ever electric i7 variant ahead of their online reveal on Wednesday April 20th.
The new teasers reveal a distinct look for the 7-Series, including a front dominated by a large grille, a controversial feature that comes “illuminated” on the electric i7 variant.
But the most impressive features are the massive Sky Lounge Panoramic Glass Roof and a 31-inch screen with 8K display, dubbed the “BMW Theater Screen,” which descends from the roof for rear-seat passengers.
BMW says that the Sky Lounge Panoramic Glass Roof, just like the 31-inch screen, will be an optional features on the new 7-Series.
The electric i7 variant will be the most powerful variant, thanks to an output of more than 600 hp. BMW estimates that the electric luxury sedan will be able to drive 305-mile on full battery charge.
“The new BMW7-Series is absolutely trailblazing in every respect,” Frank Weber, BMW’s R&D chief said in a statement. “Like no other model, the BMW 7-Series stands for BMW’s innovative strength.”
BMW had planned to debut the all-new 7-Series at Auto China 2022, which was expected run from April 21-30 in Beijing, but has been postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions.
We expect the all-new BMW 7-Series to reach showrooms later in 2022 as a 2023 model.
