See Lagosians Boarding A Commuter Bus At Tinubu Terminus In 1943 (Photo)
This is a rare picture 0f Lagosians boarding a commuter bus at Tinubu Terminus in 1943. This is exactly 77 years ago when some of use were not born. Looking at this picture, you’ll see that the spirit of rushing visited Lagos state long time ago. Up till this very moment, that spirit has sworn not to leave Lagos because the rush keeps getting much day by day.
As seen on the bus, the bus moves from Lagos to Yaba. Traveling from Lagos (Lagos Island) to Yaba spans about 3.3km which is about 10 minutes drive. Before the Molues and Danfos, we had this commuter bus.

That spirit of rushing to enter commuter bus vanished in 1986 when War Against Indiscipline (WAI) was introduce to correct our social menace in Nigeria. If Nigeria has good and reasonable leadership with good direction of purpose, this can always be corrected.
