Boris Force One, here is the new ₦436 million paint job on the UK luxurious VIP jet.
Some Brits are calling the VIP aircraft “Boris Force One,” a homage to the US Air Force One.
Others are calling it “Hair Force One,” in reference to Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s hairstyle.
Top UK government officials will now be flying in style after the Royal Air Force unveiled the new British paint job for the VIP-configured Airbus A330 jet.
The former grey RAF bodywork on the VIP jet has been replaced with the colour of the Union Jack. The country’s name are also written in gold lettering on both sides of the aircraft.
According to reports, the new ‘Boris Johnson’s” paint job cost the taxpayer around £900,000 — which equals to $1.1 million or ₦435.9 million.
The new paint job comes four years after the interior of the eight-year-old Voyager had a £10m (₦4. 8 billion) makeover when David Cameron was PM.

UK prime minister Mr Boris Johnson, ministers, as well as members of the royal family, primarily use the jet for long-haul overseas trips
The VIP aircraft has 58 business-class seats. Its spacious seating arrangement allows the aircraft to transport large business delegations on major world trade missions.
The aircraft also has a state-of-the-art communications system that allows secret messages to be sent in flight.
A source said:
“All planes need repainting every three years. This is much cheaper than buying a new one and it also saves wasting money on expensive charter flights for official business.”
