Thousands of Americans queuing up in vehicles to get tested for Coronavirus in the U.S.

The aerial photos of long drive-thru lines were taken in several states, including in Texas, California, and Virginia.
The photos shows that the coronavirus testing sites and laboratories are currently struggling to meet the demand.
According to reports, the long queue means individuals now have to wait between two to nine days for results to come out.

Normally, results take at least 24 hours to become available. A coronavirus test involves swabbing a patient’s nose and throat and then testing the sample.
When labs are overwhelmed with more swabs than they can test, the results can take up to a week or longer.
