Three Pagani Icons—Zonda, Huayra And Utopia—Gather To Celebrate 140 Years Of Mercedes-Benz

Earlier in the month, three generations of Pagani hypercars—the Zonda, Huayra and Utopia—gathered with a convoy of 140 historic and modern Mercedes-Benz vehicles at the German brand’s museum to celebrate “140 years of Mercedes-Benz” and to witness the world premiere of the new Mercedes-AMG GT SUV.
While each of the three Paganis features its own distinctive design philosophy, all three share an important connection with Mercedes-Benz’s high-performance division, the Mercedes-AMG, whose V12 engines have powered the Italian marque’s flagship creations.

“In Stuttgart, Zonda, Huayra, and Utopia gathered to celebrate 140 years of Mercedes-Benz, bringing together the milestones of a more than 30-year partnership built on attention to detail and a passion for engineering,” Pagani said, highlighting the enduring relationship between Italian marque and the German brand.
The Zonda was Pagani’s breakthrough model, introducing the brand’s distinctive sculptural bodywork, and naturally aspirated Mercedes-AMG V12 that helped establish the nameplate as one of the most recognisable Italian hypercars of its era.

Its successor, the Huayra, advanced the formula with a twin-turbocharged V12. The model demonstrated how Pagani could preserve its artistic identity while embracing more advanced technologies to improve performance and driving dynamics. Pagani
The Utopia represents the latest chapter in this lineage. Available as a fixed-roof Coupe and the Roadster, the model is powered by a 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged V12 developed exclusively for Pagani by Mercedes-AMG. It allows an electronically limited top speed of 217 mph in the Utopia Coupe.

Beyond their striking appearances, rarity and seven-figure prices, the three hypercars represent the continuity of a technical partnership. Their gathering alongside Mercedes-Benz vehicles also serves as a fitting reminder that automotive innovation often depends on partnerships across borders.
“Our deepest gratitude for welcoming us. This day was a meaningful opportunity to honor a partner that continues to be our guide, our inspiration, and our foundation of reliability,” Pagani wrote, thanking Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG and Mercedes-Benz museum.
