Authorities seizes 41 classic cars from a corrupt former Mexico City police boss, Raymundo Collins.

The fugitive former police boss served as police chief from July 2018 until December 2018.

The seizure is part of investigation into an alleged inappropriate use of funds.

Three watercrafts, a motorcycle, an ATV and several valuable pieces of art were also confiscated.





Authorities have seized a massive fleet of classic cars from the home of former Mexico City police boss, Raymundo Collins, as part of an investigation into an alleged inappropriate use of funds.

The fugitive former police boss, who is believed to be hiding in the United States, served as police chief from July 2018 until December 2018.





Collins is wanted by Mexican authorities for the improper use of $331,000 in government funds during his time as the Housing Institute director.

He is also been investigated for illegally buying a property Mexico City’s Álvaro Obregon borough for $3.3 million.

Authorities seizes 41 classic cars from a corrupt former Mexico police boss

In all, 41 pristine classic cars were seized from Raymundo Collins’ mansion. Three watercrafts, a motorcycle, an ATV and several valuable pieces of art were also confiscated from his home.

Some of the cars in his vintage automobile collection includes a Rolls-Royce, Cadillac El Dorado, a 1960’s Jeep and a Ford Mustang.

The former police boss has been fined $15.1 million for the fraudulent transaction. He has also been barred from serving in public office for two years.
