Passengers cries out for help after Kaduna-Abuja train broke down in the bush at 1a.m in the middle of the night.
Reports had it that the 2-hours journey to Abuja took more than four hours just to completed the trip.

Last week, passengers aboard a Kaduna-Abuja bound train couldn’t hide their displeasure after the train they were travelling in broke down in the middle of the bush.
Recall that the train service broke down not long ago which made minister of transportation Rotimi Ameachi to apologise to Nigerians for the inconveniences.
It however didn’t take long for it to repeat itself leaving the passengers stranded in the middle of the bush known for being a kidnapping hotspots.

A video circulated on social media showed passengers taking fresh air outside the train, while the faulty train was been attended to.
The train attendant was seen trying to calm the already pissed passengers who questioned the rationale for moving a faulty train just to risk their lives
Reports had it that the two hours journey to Abuja took more than four hours just to completed the trip.

In the video, a passenger who pleaded anonymity said, the train stopped for two hours at an unknown location. In the meantime, the operator forced most passengers to get off for fresh air.
When contacted to confirm the incident through phone, the Manager of Rigasa Station, Aminu Ibrahim said, the incident was a mere mechanical fault, which is normal for any engine.
He however said that the fault had since been fixed and the train has since resumed it normal schedule.
According to him :
“What happened is a normal thing, it was a mechanical fault. As you know, mechanical fault is normal for any engine. But, it has since been fixed and we have since resumed our normal operation. In fact, we did all our schedules today.”
