This bespoke Xenatec Maybach 57S Coupe ordered by Muammar Gaddafi in 2010 is up for sale for $1.16m.

It was never delivered to the ex-Libyan leader and petrol head after his regime was toppled in 2011.

The luxury car with chassis number 004 is one of only eight that were ever made.

A Xenatec Maybach 57S Coupe reportedly ordered by former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi in 2010 is up for sale at Netherlands’ Auto Leitner.

The customized bespoke 2-door car by coachbuilder Xenatec is a coupe version of the Maybach 57S created by taken the back doors off the luxury sedan.

Unfortunately, it was never delivered to the then Libyan leader and petrol head, Muammar Gaddafi, after his regime was toppled in 2011.

The luxury car with chassis number 004 is one of only eight that were ever made. Features in this bespoke ride includes a rear view camera, CD and a DVD disc changer as well as a heated steering wheel. Rear passengers also get refrigerator between rear seats, a phone, TV tuner, double cup holder etc.

Inside the bonnet is a 6.0-liter V12 producing 612 hp. This model has just 2,300 km (1,430 miles) on the odometer. According to the seller, this sample has the lowest mileage example out there.

This luxury car cost 675,000 Euros brand new in 2011, but the seller Auto Leitner is asking for 961,950 Euros ($1. 16m or N442m at today’s exchange rates).
