2022 Pathfinder By Nissan Debuts With Better Looks And Seats Up To 8 People (Photos)

The 2022 Frontier was not the only showrunner as Nissan also released the Pathfinder SUV which is better, bolder and seats up to 8 people. This latest 2022 model is by far improved than the current model and its looks stand out in the crowd. Redesigned from the ground-up, the new Pathfinder has a larger front fascia, a wide stance, and a shorter front overhang. All these give the 2022 Pathfinder a bolder presence than the outgoing model. Edgy styling aside, the 2022 Pathfinder also adds a long list of safety and connectivity equipment to its roster. Still on the exterior, LED headlights and slim upper daytime running lights come as standard. At the rear, the 2022 Pathfinder sports slimmer LED taillights and a “boxed out” liftgate inspired by the first Pathfinder incorporating a prominent satin chrome “Pathfinder” name.
On the interior, success is written all over it as the entire layout is all new and fully loaded. Thanks to a revised technology suite that includes an available 9.0-inch centre touchscreen, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and 10.8-inch head-up display. An 8.0-inch screen is standard, as is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 2022 Pathfinder has a spacious cabin and room for up to eight occupants. The second-row captain’s chairs are available for the first time and a 60/40 split-folding third-row seat. With all three rows up, there’s enough cargo space to store a 20-quart cooler or four golf bags. Nissan will offer woven cloth, leather, or semi-aniline quilted leather on the 2022 Pathfinder.
Under the hood, Nissan opted for the current model’s 3.5-litre V6 that outputs 284 horsepower and 259 ib-ft. The biggest change is the transmission as Nissan ditched the CVT gearbox for a reliable 9-speed automatic transmission. With a selection of off-road features, seven driving modes (standard, sport, eco, snow, sand, mud/rut, and tow) the new 2022 Pathfinder should be able to live up to its name.
