Enter The Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner, The Most Luxurious Model Yet (Photos)

A new flagship has arrived to sit atop Bentley’s leather-laden lineup which is the Flying Spur Mulliner. The model was launched yesterday at the Monterey Car Week in California.
The Mulliner version of the Flying Spur has a double diamond pattern in the front grille and a chrome finish for the lower inlet. The Bentley Flying B hood ornament is electronically deployed and illuminated. Mulliner branding appears on the fender vents, and the mirror caps are the colour Satin Silver. The sedan rides on 22-inch wheels with polished finished and grey details with self-levelling wheel caps in the centre.
Inside, the opulent cabin is fitted with illuminated outer treadplates and deep-pile overmats. As you would expect from Bentley’s personalization division, there are eight custom three-colour combinations available. One of the configurations called Ascot applied Imperial Blue leather to the instrument panel, door trims and headlining, combined with light tan leather seats and white micro-piping as seen in the images below.
The Mulliner Driving Specification is fitted as standard, which adds a diamond-in-diamond quilting pattern to the seats that take 18 months to develop, with each diamond featuring 712 individual stitches. 3D textured leather is also added to the doors and a diamond milled technical finish is applied to the centre and rear consoles. Bentley developed Mulliner-specific graphics for the digital gauge cluster, and every Flying Spur Mulliner has electronically operated rear picnic tables with leather-trimmed surfaces mounted to the front seatbacks.
Customers will have to choose between 3 powertrain options. The twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 rockets the car to 60 mph in 4.0 seconds, and up to 198 mph. The twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 slashes 0.3 seconds from the sprint time and increases the top speed to 207 mph. Finally, the V6 Hybrid rockets the luxury sedan to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds, and up to 177 mph.
