Hyundai Unleashes Night Edition Sonata N-Line Inspired By G.I Joe Film
Hyundai’s 2022 Sonata N-Line is already a dazzler but why not make it even more? That’s where the Night Edition steps in which is a special edition based on the Sonata N Line in “Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins.”
The Night Edition takes everything from the standard Sonata N Line and adds parts for a darker look. The package includes carbon fibre reinforced plastic parts for the rear lip spoiler and wheel centre caps. The exterior badges have a dark chrome finish. The brake callipers are red. The vehicle rides on 19-inch wheels with a matte black finish.
Hyundai also paints the car in Phantom Black paint but says you can spec it in Quartz White if you’d rather have the black-and-white contrast look. The white cars get body-colour mirrors and door handles, but the Phantom Black cars get neat-looking matte black mirrors and door handles. Meanwhile, the interior appears identical to any other Sonata N Line.
Inside, the cabin has a mix of Nappa leather and Dinamica microfiber suede. There’s red contrast stitching, and the N logo is on the seatbacks. Dark chrome trim decorates the cabin. A 12.3-inch display is in the instrument cluster. The infotainment system has navigation and a 10.25-inch screen. The stereo is from Bose and has 12 speakers. A panoramic sunroof is also a standard feature.
Power is gotten from a turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 290 hp (213 kW / 294 PS) and 311 lb-ft (422 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, which sends power to the front wheels.
