China’s Hongqi E-HS9 Luxury Electric SUV Enters Israeli Market
Hongqi continues its global expansion after debuting the E-HS9 luxury electric SUV in the Israeli market.
The Hongqi E-HS9 SUV sold in the Israeli market starts at 399,000 Israeli New Shekel ($124,000 USD).
The electric SUV comes in four cruising ranges : 460-km, 510-km, 660-km, and 690-km.
E-HS9 has been chosen to spearhead Hongqi’s expansion into several markets as it packs several premium features.
Israel is the latest country that Chinese brand Hongqi has entered, following its arrival in Norway, Japan and Saudi Arabia.


Hongqi, the China FAW Group’s flagship brand, in parnership with Flamelet Group, has launched the E-HS9 luxury electric Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in a showroom in Tel Aviv, marking the official landing of Hongqi brand in the Israeli market.
At the listing ceremony, President of Samelet Group, Mr. Shay, explains that Hongqi is committed to providing Israeli users with luxurious and environmentally friendly automotive products and services.


The Hongqi E-HS9 sold in the Israeli market starts at 399,000 Israeli New Shekel ($124,000 or about ₦51 Million, excluding local taxes and destination charges). The electric SUV comes in four cruising ranges : 460-km, 510-km, 660-km, and 690-km.



The E-HS9 has been chosen to spearhead Hongqi’s expansion into several markets as the all-electric full-size luxury SUV packs several luxurious features as premium models from established automakers like BMW and Rolls-Royce.
Israel is the latest country that Chinese brand has entered, following its arrival in Norway, Japan and Saudi Arabia, as the brand looks to capture the lucrative European and Asian market share.
