Man Use Sledgehammer To Destroy Speed Bumps, Says They Were Erected At The Wrong Places (Video)
Angry Nigerian motorist seen using sledgehammer to destroy speed bumps reportedly installed where they aren’t needed.
Said that the speed bumps are obstruction to the roads, adding that the latter are meant to ease movement.

Speed bumps, which vary in length, are widely found on the Nigerian roads to help regulate the speed of vehicles as well as to enforce a low speed limit to like 40 km/h (25 mph) or lower.
But while speed bumps can be effective in keeping vehicle speeds down, their use have been reported to damage vehicles as well as cause traffic, as in the case of these ones being dismantled by an angry Nigerian motorist.

In a video shared, the man was seen using sledgehammer to destroy one of several speed bumps reportedly installed where they aren’t needed.
When questioned for his actions, the man said that the speed bumps are obstruction to the roads, adding that the latter are meant to ease movement.

Claiming he isn’t against putting speed bumps on the roads, he noted that the speed bumps are meant to be approved by the appropriate authorities and installed by the professionals where they are required.
In addition to causing traffic, poorly-designed speed bumps that stand too tall can be disruptive for drivers, and may be difficult to navigate for vehicles with low ground clearance, like sports cars.
