Today’s Photos : Can a roadside mechanic handle this Rolls-Royce Phantom 7 better than certified technicians.
A lone picture taken at a local mechanic workshop somewhere in Africa and posted to social media pages shows a first-generation Rolls-Royce Phantom 7 sedan likely down with an engine problem.
The full-sized Phantom 7 luxury saloon car boasts one of the most advanced and most silent engine, one that should be handled or maintained by certified technicians at accredited dealership.
The smoothness of Phantom’s Phantom’s naturally-aspirated V-12 cylinder engine has been tested by placing a coin in standing position atop a running engine. Despite revving the engine, the standing coin didn’t tumbled over.
This massive V-12 engine, which pumps out the power of 454 horses, can take the Rolls-Royce Phantom Series I from zero-to-60 mph in 5.9 seconds, and a top speed of 149 mph (240 km/h) to escape the paparazzi.
