The all-new BMW 7 Series flagship luxury limousine debuted last year not only with an i7 M70 electric variant but also with an optional two-tone paint schemes that the German luxury car brand said can take almost 12 hours to make.
Each of the distinctive two-tone paint combinations, much like that seen on Mercedes-Maybach models, cost as much as $12,000, making it an expensive option for the all-new BMW 7 Series.
While there are several two-tone paint combinations, BMW flagship limousine, the i7 M70, comes standard with the Liquid Copper and Sapphire Black two-tone color that looks similar to the one on the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class By Virgil Abloh.
The highly customized Mercedes-Maybach S-Class (S680) created by Virgil Abloh and Mercedes-Benz comes with an upper section painted in Obsidian Black while the bottom of the car is coated in a tan shade.
While the limited-edition Mercedes-Maybach By Virgil Abloh Abloh is only available in the unique two-tone color combination borrowed directly from Project Maybach, the BMW i7 M70 is also available in Cashmere Silver Metallic/Aventurine Red Metallic and Tanzanite Blue with black.
