Kia Sportage Celebrates 30 Years Of Existence With A Dark Edition Model

Kia is celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of the Sportage with an extremely modest party. For the occasion, it dresses the current Sportage in a festive costume called Dark Edition.
It has been thirty years since Kia introduced the first generation of the Sportage. The first Sportage, mainly based on Mazda, made its debut in 1993 and became available globally a year later. Kia is celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of the model line quite subtly and is introducing a special version of the current model.
It is called Dark Edition and is available in the colors Deluxe White, Casa White, Pearl Black, Penta Metal, Experience Green, and Wolf Gray, which is only available in this version. From the outside, you can recognize it by the high-gloss black finish around the side windows and the lower edge of the rear spoiler, which is in the same shade. At the front and rear, we see accents in dark chrome and the Dark Edition stands on black alloy. Privacy glass and darker skid plates are also part of the Dark Edition party. The Sportage Dark Edition has seats upholstered in a combination of suede and artificial leather. The front seats are electrically adjustable and heated and the steering wheel can also be heated.
The Kia Sportage Dark Edition will be available later this year. It is not yet known which powertrains it will be available with and what it will cost.
