Ineos Starts Production Of Grenadier Quartermaster Pickup, Coming To Nigeria
British marque Ineos Automotive begins production of Grenadier Quartermaster pickup truck, coming to Nigeria.
5-seat double cab Quartermaster is the second model from INEOS Automotive and the largest model in the Grenadier line-up.
Compared to the Grenadier SUV, the Quartermaster rides on 3227 mm wheelbase – which is 305 mm longer than the SUV.

Ineos Automotive has announced the start of production of the Grenadier Quartermaster, a pickup truck version of its Grenadier SUV, at the company’s manufacturing facility at Hambach, ahead of first customer deliveries in Europe in December 2023.
The British marque said shipments to Asia Pacific, Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East will follow soon after, while North American sales of the Quartermaster are scheduled to begin in early 2024.

First unveiled at Goodwood Festival of Speed in July, the five-seat double cab Quartermaster is the second model from INEOS Automotive and the largest model in the Grenadier line-up.
The Grenadier Quartermaster double cab pickups are currently being built on the same production line with the Grenadier SUV at its manufacturing facility in Hambach, France, previously owned by Mercedes-Benz.

Compared to the Grenadier SUV, which started its production in July 2022, the Grenadier Quartermaster double cab pickup rides on an extended 3227 mm wheelbase – which is 305 mm longer than the the SUV — or Station Wagon, as Ineos Automotive calls it.
Like the SUV, the Quartermaster comes with two engine options – a BMW 3.0-litre turbo-charged inline six-cylinder petrol with 282 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque or diesel engines, which drives all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission from ZF.

“The start of production for our second model line is another extremely exciting and important milestone for INEOS Automotive. said Lynn Calder, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of INEOS Automotive
“As part of the final sign-off process I drove a late prototype in both Spain and the African bush and it’s unbeatable off-road, combining the rugged capability and refined performance of the Station Wagon with the enormous load bay that can carry a huge amount of kit and cargo. It’s a great addition to our model line-up.”
