Lagos Police arrests leader of a one-chance robbery syndicate, recovers Toyota Camry from suspect.

Command’s spokesperson says one-chance robbery syndicate operates within Itire, Aguda, Cele and Surulere.

The suspect has been arraigned and remanded to prison till March 18, 2024 for continuation of hearing.





Operatives of Lagos State Police Command has arrested an alleged leader of a one-chance robbery syndicate that reportedly operates within Itire, Aguda, Cele and Surulere area of the state.

In a Twitter post by SP Benjamin Hundeyin on Monday, the Lagos State Command’s spokesperson said a Toyota Camry was recovered from the suspect while efforts are on to arrest other members of the syndicate.

“Operatives of @LagosPoliceNG have arrested one Ndubisi George ‘m’ aged 49, leader of a one-chance robbery syndicate operating within Itire, Aguda, Cele and Surulere.”

“One grey Toyota Camry was recovered from him while efforts are on to arrest other members of the syndicate.”

“The suspect has been arraigned and remanded to prison till March 18, 2024 for continuation of hearing.”

Replying to Hundeyin’s post, a user noted that Ojuelegba is also a crime hotspot, saying :

“Add ojuelegba to the list. My sis was robbed there one chance bus from ojuelegba and dropped them at fadeyi.. then crossed the highway pavement and head back to ojuelegba.. No one was injuries but they were all robbed..”





Another user said :

“I see no difference between the thief and the car behind him, dem too gbole pass each other.!”

A third user said :

“Ndubisi George is assumed innocent until he’s found guilty by a competent court. He is therefore the alleged leader of a one-chance robbery syndicate.”
