Art-inspired Pagani Zonda With The Face Of Lionel Messi Was Built Out Of 100,000 Gold Coins
Art-inspired Pagani Zonda with the face of Lionel Messi was built out of 100,000 pieces of $2 Uruguayan gold coins.
To create the Pagani art car, more than 500,000 soldering points were used to connect the gold coins.
Commissioned by car collector, Jorge Gomez, the project took sculptor Joaquin Arbiza three years to complete.
The stunning Pagani Zonda Carpincho art car lacks the V12-engine in the original Pagani Zonda hypercar.
But it stands as a tribute to Messi, whose portrait was crafted out on the bonnet, reflecting the collector’s admiration for the star.

Uruguayan sculptor Joaquin Arbiza recently unveiled a one-off, full-scale replica of a Pagani Zonda F made entirely from Uruguayan pesos at the inaugural Miami Concours Art Week Cars & Coffee event.
Commissioned by renowned car collector and enthusiast, Jorge Gomez, the art car dubbed the ‘Pagani Zonda Carpincho’, pays homage to eight-times Ballon d’Or winner and FIFA World Cup Winner, Lionel Messi.
