Art-inspired Pagani Zonda with the face of Lionel Messi was built out of 100,000 pieces of $2 Uruguayan gold coins.
To create the Pagani art car, more than 500,000 soldering points were used to connect the gold coins.
Commissioned by car collector, Jorge Gomez, the project took sculptor Joaquin Arbiza three years to complete.
The stunning Pagani Zonda Carpincho art car lacks the V12-engine in the original Pagani Zonda hypercar.
But it stands as a tribute to Messi, whose portrait was crafted out on the bonnet, reflecting the collector’s admiration for the star.
Commissioned by renowned car collector and enthusiast, Jorge Gomez, the art car dubbed the ‘Pagani Zonda Carpincho’, pays homage to eight-times Ballon d’Or winner and FIFA World Cup Winner, Lionel Messi.

To create the stunning Pagani art car, Arbiza used more than 500,000 soldering points to connect 100,000 pieces of $2 Uruguayan gold coins into place – a project that took him three years to complete.
While the art car lacks the V12-engine in the original Pagani Zonda, it stands as a tribute to Lionel Messi, whose portrait was created on the bonnet, reflecting the collector’s admiration for the famous Argentine professional footballer.
As expected, the unique art car, which perfectly combines craftsmanship and creativity, was a head-turner at the event. The art car remained on display at the Pagani of Miami showroom after the end of the show.
