See What LASTMA Did To A Man Whose Driver Ran Away After Commiting A Traffic Offense (PHOTOS)
The driver of a retired Commodore in the Nigeria Navy committed a traffic offence and ran away from arrest.
His disappearance temporarily absolved him from punishment. However, his employer wasn’t spared.
The arresting traffic authority, LASTMA, made the owner of the car suffer the consequence.
Commodore Oduyemi (Rtd) was made to do community service as a punitive measure for the offence committed by his diver who had absconded.
The community service required him to deliver a lecture to members of the LASTMA staff.
The lecture title was “Relationship with the Military”.
So be careful of who you give your cars to drive.
LASTMA or any punishing traffic authority might not be this lenient.
