All-new Electric BMW iX3 SUV Arrives As The First Neue Klasse Model
2026 BMW iX3 has made its global debut at the 2025 (IAA Mobility, arriving as the first Neue Klasse model.
iX3 50 xDrive will be the first variant of the fully electric SAV, followed by other variants, including an entry-level model.
The BMW iX3 50 xDrive is powered by two electric motors, which puts out 469 hp and 645 Nm (475 lb-ft) of torque.
It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph).


The all-new 2026 BMW iX3 has made its global debut at the 2025 International Motor Show (IAA Mobility) in Munich (9 to 14 September 2025), with the all-electric SUV arriving as the first Neue Klasse model.
“The Neue Klasse is our biggest future project and marks a huge leap in terms of technologies, driving experience and design,” says Oliver Zipse, Chairman of the Board of Management of BMW AG.

“The BMW iX3 is the first Neue Klasse model to go into series production. We are not only bringing the next generation of one of our most successful fully electric vehicles onto the road, we are launching a new era for BMW.”

Distinctive BMW design cues on the exterior includes the BMW kidneys with vertical arrangement and twin headlights as well as taillights that extends well into the centre of the rear end.
Hightlight inside is the new BMW Panoramic iDrive created specifically for the Neue Klasse, which brings together four central elements together into a unique display and control/operation system.


The iX3 50 xDrive will be the first variant of the fully electric SAV to roll off the production line at the newly constructed BMW Group plant in Debrecen, Hungary, followed by other variants, including an entry-level model.
The BMW iX3 50 xDrive is powered by two electric motors, which puts out 469 hp and 645 Nm (475 lb-ft) of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph).


Thanks to a high-voltage battery-pack with a usable energy content of 108.7 kWh, the BMW iX3 50 xDrive all-electric SUV will go up to 805 km (500 miles) per charge.
With rapid charging station, the high-voltage battery can charge from 10 to 80 per cent capacity in 21 minutes and add up to 372 kilometres (231 miles) of range in just ten minutes.
