Anambra’s First Automated Vehicle Inspection Center Commissioned By Governor Obiano

In a bid to eradicate old and rickety vehicles that are the frequent cause of road accidents, Anambra State Governor, Governor Willie Obiano commissioned Computer-based inspection center in Awka to improve the efficiency in checking vehicle road-worthiness.
This will ensure that vehicles that are issued certificate of road-worthiness must have undergone proper and adequate testing which includes inspection of headlamps, brakes and other important parts of the vehicle. The Computers-based inspection is expected to reduce the rate of accidents on our roads
These centers are being constructed in other cities in Anambra which include; Onitsha, Owerri and Nnewi.
