Austrian professional footballer, Marko Arnautovic, while on loan at Inter Milan, once borrowed teammate Samuel Eto’o’s luxury Bentley only for it to be stolen by a fake valet.
The then 20-year-old Marko Arnautovic was in need of a luxury car to impress a date so he asked Eto’o for his Bentley. Eto’o, known for numerous exotic cars was more than happy to lend him the ride.
Recalling the incident that happened in 2010, Wesley Sneijder, a team-mate of the pair at the San Siro told SunSport:
“Marko Arnautovic, he was with us at Inter. And Samuel Eto’o as well, and he had a lot of amazing cars.
“One day Arnautovic said ‘listen I’m going to a restaurant can I borrow one of your cars?’
“And Eto’o said of course so he gave Arnautovic his Bentley, and he drove to the restaurant and gave the keys to a man standing outside.
