Audi To Include S Edition Competition In Three Other Models
Audi is expanding its S Edition Competition offering to the Q3, Q5, and plug-in hybrid models of the A6. You can now also get a sporty version of these cars for a relatively modest additional cost.
It is a choice that now seems standard in the premium segment: a sporty (bumper) package, preferably supplemented with black accents and a black headliner. At Audi, they like to give the S-Line option a boost with the so-called S Edition Competition versions. That sounds like a super intense ultra-sporty version, but simply means that a number of sporty options are combined in one attractive package. This was already possible with the A4 and A5, for example, but now Audi is also letting the Q3, Q5, and A6 PHEV be part of this party. For the Q3 and Q5, the S Edition Competition package is available on both the regular version and the flattened Sportback variants.
In the case of the Q3, the party is limited to the 150-hp 35 TFSI, and the S Edition Competition is therefore not available as a plug-in hybrid. The Q3 is available in this version for €55,875. For €2,500 more than the basic version, you get all S-Line furnishings, including bumpers, painted wheel arch edges, 18-inch alloys, black accents, a sports steering wheel, an audio upgrade, MMI Navigation Plus, and many other trinkets.
For the Q5, the S Edition Competition package is available on the plug-in hybrid 50 TFSIe and 55 TFSIe. The Audi Q5 S Edition Competition is available for €74,173.
Then the A6. It was already available as the S edition Competition, but now it also combines the often black-colored sportiness with the plug-in hybrid 50 TFSIe drive. It is available in that form for €73,558.
