Bugatti Produces The Last Bolide Hypercar In Its Molsheim Factory

Bugatti announced that the factory in Molsheim, France, produced the last 40 Bolide models with the 8.0 liter W16 engine.
The latest Bolide marks the end of a chapter for Bugatti. A milestone that carries deep meaning for the brand, marking the culmination of a project that pushed the boundaries of what is possible in track-focused automotive engineering. With the latest example, the marque celebrates a journey that has demonstrated the unwavering commitment to excellence that has defined Bugatti since 1909.
Limited to just 40 examples, the Bolide is proof of what can be achieved when heritage drives innovation and the pursuit of perfection remains the only acceptable standard.
The specifications of the latest example were inspired by the client’s own Bugatti Type 35, so the car was finished in “Black Blue” and “Special Blue Layonnais” colors, with “Lake Blue” Alcantara in the interior. The same shade of blue was used on the client’s Veyron Grand Sport.
The Bugatti Bolide is based on a custom-made carbon fiber chassis, which has been developed in accordance with the LMh and LMDh regulations and meets all the safety norms prescribed by the FIA.
