China’s BYD partners with Inter Milan, players and management to receive Denza Z9 GT and BYD Sealion 7.

As part of the partnership, BYD will also make available the Sealion 7 in a limited-edition to Inter fans and enthusiasts.

China’s BYD Group has announced a three-year strategic partnership with Italian professional football club, FC Internazionale Milano (Inter Milan), becoming the club’s Global Automotive Partner.

The partnership was officially unveiled during a special event held at Inter’s Training Centre, where two of BYD’s electric and super plug-in hybrid (DM-i) models, the Denza Z9 GT and the BYD Sealion 7, were on display.

“BYD’s name means Build Your Dreams, and I think this partnership is a dream for young people, for everybody with a passion for football,” Stella Li, Executive Vice President of BYD, stated.

As part of the partnership, BYD Group will supply around 70 custom-designed BYD Sealion 7 and Denza Z9 GT vehicles with details inspired by the Nerazzurri colours to Inter’s top management, coaching staff, and First Team players.

“The first Z9 GT vehicles to be distributed in Europe will be those delivered to Nerazzurri players, while the Sealion 7 will also be available to fans and enthusiasts. There will be additional initiatives to bring Nerazzurri supporters around the world closer to our brands,” Alfredo Altavilla, BYD Special Advisor for Europe, added.

Also with this partnership with Milan-based Inter, BYD will make available the BYD Sealion 7 in a limited-edition to Inter fans and enthusiasts, offering them the chance to travel in the same car driven by the Club’s players.

“We are proud that the Group, with its brands BYD and DENZA, has chosen Inter as the first football club to partner with. It is a testament to the growing global appeal of our brand,” said Giorgio Ricci, Chief Revenue Officer of FC Internazionale Milano.
