Climate Change Creates Car Wahala

From Calabar to Lagos, Port Harcourt to Ile-Ife, Enugu to Oyo town, the first incident of rainfall was recorded in January.
Many people commented on this early occurrence of rainfall as unusual. In fact, in times past, February/March is usually the beginning of the rainy season in this part of the world. The phrase that readily comes to mind in explaining this shift is climate change.
By now we all have an idea of how climate change is an issue of our time – from shifting weather patterns that threaten food production, to rising sea levels that increase the risk of catastrophic flooding, to heat waves that can create health challenges – the impacts of climate change are global in scope and unprecedented in scale.
What does climate change mean for your Car? A million-dollar question.
Last week, a friend parked his car at a popular parking space on the Island. And then, without any prior notice, it began to rain cats and dogs. After about two hours of heavy downpour, my friend got into his car to head home. And then, the car refused to start.

I always advise car users to service their automobiles before and after the rainy season to avoid disappointment and embarrassment. The days of waiting for your car to break down before you repair or service it is over. Changing one or two things in your car that are tending towards failure will save you the cost of repairing other parts that would be directly or indirectly affect. Nice piece of content.
