Did you use a third party to process your vehicle registration? Verify its validity

We all know that it’s a norm for Nigerian car owners to process their vehicle registration through third party agents in order to avoid the bureaucratic process involved. The Nigeria Police and other regulatory agencies now check our plate number validity at random as some may not be properly recorded on the issuing agency’s system…
It’s better to be informed than to be caught unawares. To check, go to http://www.nvisng.org, click on verify plate number and input your vehicle number without spacing the characters. You will either get a response that the plate number is valid and assigned to your car or it is yet to be assigned. See attached pictures for visual clarification.
If your search falls in the latter category, you need to get it resolved as it may be due to incomplete processing.
