The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has launched an electric shuttle service at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA) in Abuja, as part of efforts to transition to renewable energy and reduce carbon emissions.
The project was commissioned on Friday (today) by FAAN’s Board Chairperson, Abdullahi Ganduje, alongside the MD and CEO of FAAN, Olubunmi Kuku, representatives of the partner firms, airport stakeholders and other senior officials.

Speaking at the event, Ganduje and Kuku appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo and the development partners for their continued support.
