Fact Check : Nigerian Fuji Musician, K1 De Ultimates’ Rolls-Royce Cullinan was never towed in UK for parking offences.

Nigerian blog’s wrong assumption was mainly due to ‘K1’ number plate fitted to the “Rolls-Royce of SUVs”.

K1 De Ultimate loves showing off his luxury rides. Cars in his collection includes a Bentley Flying Spur and a Rolls-Royce Ghost.

Earlier this week, AutoJosh, Nigeria’s authoritative car blog, reported the seizure of a Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge fitted with a £1.5 million ‘K1’ Number Plate for parking offences in the UK.

The seizure follows two £80 penalty charge notices slapped on the windscreen of the massive ‘Rolls-Royce of SUVs’ for parking on double-yellow lines in near High Street Kensington.

UK empowers the police to seize illegally parked vehicles. This law is respected by every one living in the country except the owner of the seven-figure Rolls-Royce worth £500,000.

In our earlier publication, titled with ‘“UK No Be Naija” : Rolls-Royce Cullinan Fitted With £1.5m ‘K1’ Number Plate Towed For Parking Offence’, we asked whether traffic Agencies like LASTMA and FRSC, could confiscate luxury vehicles of a wealthy individual for parking or driving offences?

Since then, Nigerian blogs have alleged that the seven-figure Rolls-Royce belonged to popular music star, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal aka “K1 De Ultimate”. Their wrong assumption was mainly due to ‘K1’ number plate fitted to the “Rolls-Royce of SUVs”.

K1 De Ultimate loves showing off his luxury rides. Cars in his collection includes a Bentley Flying Spur and a Rolls-Royce Ghost, the latter he bought in 2020 to celebrate his Mayegun of Yorubaland title. He also owned a Dakar-inspired 2023 Toyota Hilux GR Sport pickup truck – one of his favorite ride.
