Peugeot Adds More Power And 4WD To Its e-5008 And e-3008 Models
Peugeot is adding more powerful four-wheel drive versions to the range of the e-3008 and e-5008. There’s also a five-seater 5008 in the pipeline.
The Peugeot e-3008 and e-5008 can currently only be ordered with front-wheel drive, but that is about to change. As previously announced, there are also more powerful drivetrains with four-wheel drive in the pipeline. They will be added to the range this year.
Earlier it seemed to be about a system power of 320 hp, now Peugeot is talking about 325 hp. The electric motors, one in the front and one in the back, get their energy from a 73 kWh battery. Previously, a WLTP range of 525 km was given for this version of the e-3008. Next month Peugeot will open the order books for the four-wheel drive e-3008 and e-5008.
There is more news specifically for the Peugeot e-5008. For the time being, we only know this as a seven-seater. Those looking for the space of the e-5008 without the third row of seats can soon opt for a five-seater version. This offers 994 liters of luggage space with the second row of seats up and 2,310 litres if you fold them down. There is a considerable difference with the seven-seater version, where you can use a maximum of 1,815 liters. It is not yet clear whether the Peugeot 5008 with combustion engines will also come onto the market as a five-seater, but that is likely.
