Rolls-Royce Ghost used by the Former Governor of Rivers State during his trip to Port Harcourt is likely armored.

Wike’s Rolls-Royce, named ‘Post Opulence’ by Rolls-Royce designers, is the latest and 2nd-generation of the Rolls-Royce Ghost.

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, pulled up in a 2024 Rolls-Royce Ghost ultra-luxury sedan when he paid a visit to Senator Barry Mpigi at his residence in Port Harcourt, the capital city of Rivers State, over the weekend.

In a trending video shared online, a convoy of Rolls-Royce Ghost ferrying the FCT Minister and a Bentley Flying Spur were seen arriving at a residence of Senator Barry Mpigi.

After alighting from the Rolls-Royce Ghost, the former Governor of Rivers State, accompanied by his loyalist, was welcomed by Senator Barry Mpigi.





The sighting comes amid claims on social media alleging that the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) is either sick or dead.

The Rolls-Royce Ghost Nyesom Wike used during his trip to Port Harcourt is likely armored, unlike the Lexus LX 600 he rides to official duties as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, which he claimed is unarmored.

Named ‘Post Opulence’ by Rolls-Royce designers, the new 2nd-generation of the Rolls-Royce Ghost is not just the most technologically advanced Rolls-Royce yet, but also the most aesthetically pure.

Power comes from 6.75-litre twin-turbo V12, an engine. Rolls-Royce says is designed to “whisper”. and not to “shout”.

The engine, which makes 563 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque (850nm), which allows the Rolls-Royce Ghost to accelerate smoothly from rest to 62mph in 4.8 seconds up to a top speed restricted to 155 mph.
