Also at the event, the Corps Marshal of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed, described the intervention as timely and strategic, noting that it reflects the unusual support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, to the Corps.
“He stated that the provision of the Electric Motor Bikes amplifies the evolving role of the FRSC within Nigeria’s national security architecture, beyond traffic management to intelligence support and emergency response.”

“The Corps Marshal explained that the bikes will be immediately deployed along critical corridors nationwide to enhance traffic control, enforcement, strategic intervention patrols, escort duties and special assignments, particularly in areas where conventional patrol vehicles face operational challenges.”
According to the Corps Marshal, the increased mobility, speed and visibility offered by the bikes will significantly improve traffic flow, rapid response to road traffic crashes, highway decongestion and orderliness, especially during the festive and peak travel periods.

He further explained that the new fleet of Electric Motor Bikes will further strengthen the Corps’ capacity to support ongoing security operations and reinforce inter-agency collaboration in safeguarding lives and property.
The Corps Marshal added that the deployment of the Electric Motor Bikes also aligns with global best practices in sustainable and technology-driven mobility, as the Corps continues to adopt innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency while supporting environmental sustainability.
