Ford Upgrades Mustang Mach-E For The 2025 Model Year
Ford has predicted some upgrades for the 2025 model year electric Mustang Mach-E, all at a more affordable price.
The base model will now start at $36,495 in the US, which is $3,500 less than the 2024 Mustang Mach-E Select. The new model will sell early next year, offering customers more for less.
In addition to the price reduction, Ford introduced some significant modifications. First, the 2025 Mustang Mach-E will come standard with a heat pump, which is especially useful for improving efficiency in colder weather. The Blue Oval decided to swap the rotary dial gear selector on the centre consoled for a column-mounted shifter instead, freeing up even more space between the seats.
The Premium trim offers a new Sport Appearance Package for those looking for extra style. This package borrows design cues from the GT model, including the front grille and red front Brembo brake callipers. The look is completed by 19-inch monochrome high-gloss black wheels and matching black body elements. Inside, the package adds red stitching and sports pedals, with front seats now standard with ventilation in this package.
There is also the latest BlueCruise 1.5 technology, Ford’s driver assistance technology. This system includes a new automatic lane change feature, which can handle up to 45 percent of lane changes typically initiated by drivers.
Finally, three new exterior colours (Molten Magenta Metallic, Velocity Blue Metallic and Desert Sand) are also available for the 2025 model year.
