Back in December 2021, an ice-covered dry cargo ship named Sun Rio delivered a batch of frozen used Japanese cars to a port in Vladivostok, in Russia.

These foreign used Japanese cars were covered with thick layers of ice, making it difficult to guess the brand of a car under this icy glaze. The contents of the ship, which sailed in from South Korea, reportedly included an Honda Fit and a Toyota Tank.

Accordingly to Employees of the “Green Corner” car market, it is quite common for vehicles to arrive in this state during winter.

“It’s December, the sea is rough and windy. Water splashes on board, it turns into a crust,” the captain of the ship, through Russian publication VL.RU, said at the time.
