JLR announces financial results for the Q4 of FY25 (3‑month period to 31 March 2025) and the full year ended 31 March 2025.
Revenue for the quarter was £7.7B (down 1.7% versus Q4 FY24), while full year revenue was £29.0B – which was flat year‑on‑year.
Range Rover Sport and Land Rover Defender wholesales for the year were up 19.7% and 0.7% YoY respectively.
Over 32,000 people have expressed interest in Jaguar’s forthcoming electric GT, waiting lists of the Range Rover Electric exceeds 61,000.

Jaguar Land Rover Automotive plc (“JLR”) has announced its financial results for the fourth quarter of FY25 (three‑month period to 31 March 2025) and the full year ended 31 March 2025.
Tata-owned British luxury marque said its revenue for the quarter was £7.7 billion (down 1.7% versus Q4 FY24), while full year revenue was £29.0 billion – which was flat year‑on‑year.
Profit before tax (“PBT”) in the quarter was £875 million (up from £661 million) – its tenth consecutive profitable quarter, while the full year profit before tax was £2.5 billion, up 15% year‑on‑year, the highest profit in a decade.
Range Rover Sport and Land Rover Defender wholesales for the year were up 19.7% and 0.7% (115,404 units of Defender) YoY respectively, with the former supported by standout advertising campaign with actor Theo James.
Last year, JLR global Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) retail sales were up 21.7% YoY, with Range Rover brand PHEV retail sales up 38.2% YoY.
“JLR has ended the year with strong annual and quarterly earnings, including delivering our tenth consecutive profitable quarter and our net debt zero target. We have achieved record sales of Defender, revealed the stunning Jaguar Type 00 and we are preparing to launch the wonderful Range Rover Electric,” said Adrian Mardell, Chief Executive Officer, JLR.
JLR had earlier in April announced full year sales of 428,854 (431,733) vehicles for the year. The overall mix of the brand’s most profitable flagship Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Defender models was 66.3 percent of total wholesale volumes in Q4 FY25 and 67.8 percent for the full year.
According to the brand, over 32,000 people globally have expressed interest in reimagined Jaguar’s forthcoming electric GT while the waiting lists of the upcoming Range Rover Electric has exceeded 61,000.
