JLR Announces Full Year Sales Of 428,854 Vehicles, 66.3% Had Mix Of Range Rover, Range Rover Sport And Defender

Tata-owned British luxury marque, Jaguar Land Rover Automotive plc (“JLR”), has announced strong wholesale and retail sales for the fourth quarter of FY25 (three‑month period to 31 March 2025) and the full year ended 31 March 2025.
Wholesale volumes for the fourth quarter reach 111,413 vehicles (excluding the Chery Jaguar Land Rover China Joint Venture), which is up 6.7% vs. Q3 FY25 and up 1.1% year‑on‑year.

New Range Rover Electric continues to generate strong global interest with over 48,000 clients signed up to the waiting list.
Also, retail sales for the fourth quarter reached 108,232 units (including the Chery Jaguar Land Rover China Joint Venture), which is down 5.1 percent compared to Q4 FY24 and up 1.8 percent compared to Q3 FY25.
For the full year ended 31 March 2025, wholesale volumes of 400,898 (401,303) vehicles and retail sales of 428,854 (431,733) vehicles were flat at ‑0.1 percent and ‑0.7 percent respectively, compared to the prior year.

The overall mix of the brand’s most profitable flagship Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and Defender models was 66.3 percent of total wholesale volumes in Q4 FY25 and 67.8 percent for the full year. JLR said it will report its full year results for the year ended 31 March 2025 in May.
The company had earlier announced that the new Range Rover Electric continues to generate strong global interest with over 48,000 clients signed up to the waiting list, while over 2,900 orders have been taken for new Defender OCTA, which retails at £145,000.
