King Of Ashanti Kingdom In Ghana Travels In Rare Chinese-made Hongqi H9+ Luxury Limousine (Video)

Fitted with a custom registration plate adorned with Gold, the stretched Hongqi H9+ was used to chauffeur to the airport.
Hongqi H9 is specially designed to compete with models like the Rolls-Royce Ghost, Mercedes S-Class, Audi A8 and the BMW 7-Series.
H9 is the first Hongqi model to be launched into the global market. Hongqi is the premium car brand of China’s FAW Group.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the King of the Ashanti Kingdom in southern Ghana, was captured last month travelling in his latest luxury limousine – an S-Class rivalling Chinese-made Hongqi H9+ – which is stretched variant of the Hongqi H9 sedan.
Fitted with a custom Asante Hene registration plate adorned with Gold, the stretched Hongqi H9+ was used to chauffeur Osei Tutu II from his Manhyia Palace to the airport, where he reportedly boarded a plane for his UK trip.

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, a Freemason born Nana Barima Kwaku Duah, is the 16th Asantehene (King of the Asante), enstooled on 26 April 1999.
Hongqi H9
Specially designed to compete with models like the Rolls-Royce Ghost, Mercedes S-Class, Audi A8 and the BMW 7-Series, the H9 is the first Hongqi model to be launched into the global market.
H9 is manufactured by Hongqi, the premium car brand of China’s FAW Group. Its design is credited to Giles Taylor, the current Global Vice President of Design and Chief Creative Officer of the FAW Group, who designed Phantom 8 before leaving Rolls-Royce.
The stunning H9 is currently available in sedan and a stretch limousine version. Two powertrains are available for the Hongqi H9 : A 2.0-liter turbocharged engine with 180 kw and a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine with 200 kw.
